Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The three year full-time PhD programme is the advancement of knowledge through a high-quality original research in diverse areas of community medicine and public health. My core areas of research are tobacco control and health management (particularly health system research, evaluation of policy/programs, human resources in health). The candidates who have already qualified Junior Research Fellowship (by UGC, JRF) or sponsored from state health services/ military services etc. AND have interest/ expertise/ demonstrable experience in the core areas mentioned above, are preferred.
Please note that the PhD program in Community Medicine commences every year on 1st January and 1st July. The interested students may contact me apriori.
